هل لاحظت رش الطائرات بمحلول في الشتاء قبل الإقلاع؟ إليكم
السبب: تعتمد الطائرة على شكل و ديناميكية الجناح و سير الهواء عليه لذلك أي تغيير في شكل الجناح سيسبب مشاكل للطائرة و يمنعها من الطيران و من الأشياء التي تغير شكل الجناح الثلوج، لذلك قبل مرحلة الإقلاع عند توقف الطائرة على البوابة في ذلك الوقت تكون فرصة لتجمع الثلوج على الجناح بكثرة فيتجمد و يغير من ديناميكية الجناح مما يشكل خطورة على عملية الإقلاع فتجد الطائرة تتسارع و لا تستطيع الإقلاع و بعد أن يكتشف الطيار انه لا يمكنه الإقلاع سيجد أن مسافة المدرج المتبقية غير كافية للتوقف. لذلك يتم رش الطائرة بمحلول يذيب الثلوج و مقاوم للتجمد بعد صعود جميع الركاب و يمنع ذلك المحلول تجمع الثلوج على جسم الطائرة لفترة زمنية محددة تسمح للطائرة الإقلاع خلالها أما بعد الإقلاع فلا تحتاج الطائرة لذلك المحلول لأسباب أخرى سنذكرها بوقت آخر. لذلك القليل من التأخير و الصبر سينقذ حياتكم. 
If you ever noticed airplanes being spread with a liquid in freezing winters that’s what we call “Deicing” the reason we use it is as follows:
The airplane depends on its wings aerodynamics to fly and any changes in its shape will effect the airplane lift (that’s the ability to fly) and the most critical stage of the flight where this will be a big problem is during takeoff after the airplane sits on the ground for some time which will be enough for the snow to build up and freezes which will change the wing shape and aerodynamics, now if the pilots attempt a takeoff without taking any action the airplane will accelerate in the runway but won’t be able to takeoff and after the time they figure this out they will not have enough runway to stop the airplane, so the solution is to spray the airplane with  a Deicing fluid that will melt and formed ice and prevent any accumulation for a certain time (enough for taxi and takeoff) so a little patience will save your life.
